Departing Cape Town toward the interior of South Africa, you’ll travel through the Huguenot Tunnel, a vital 4 km engineering landmark on the N1 highway. This tunnel provides a faster and safer alternative to the steep and winding mountain pass, offering a smooth transition from the coast to the heart of the Western Cape.

Worcester

Continuing the journey, you’ll pass through Worcester, the largest town in the Breede River Valley, located approximately 120 km from Cape Town. This historic town is renowned for its wine production and plays a key role in the Western Cape’s rich viticultural heritage.

Hex River Valley
